A Grown-up Post

Hi, guys. It's been awhile. I was going through the process of growing up lately, how to live this life like an adult. Like how my age asks me to do as it is.

Oh yeah, I just finished my internship at the challenging audit firm I was mentioned before. There is good and bad feeling during this post-internship stage. The good one is I am a stress-free now, but I have to think about the next plan of my life, need to find a permanent job or further studies in professional certificate. That's the bad one.

Lately, I liked to mix around with people who are older than me, that have experienced more things. I just like to have a cup of tea with them, to talk about life. Their advices and tips are like a chill pill to me. When I'm so confused and worried about what will my future hold, talking with them will give me some clues on what to do with myself, with my life.

During this stage, when you have to pay the bills and petrol by your own, in the era where everyone is so greedy chasing the modernity, you have to buy every expensive thing to show them that you live a good life. Sometimes I feel so sick to be in this generation, but that's reality. And reality is sick. No matter how sick it is, you have to live in it anyway, no choice.

My cup-of-tea buddies ever said, it depends on how you treat your life, how you set your purpose of chasing things. If it's only for yourself, it will be reality sick. But if you learn how to appreciate things that you have first, and you earn money to benefit them for people that you love, then it will worth it.
Living in this impatient generation where you can get things in a blink of an eye, technologies trained us to be so greedy to achieve things. We never learn to be patient, and let the future matches us on the hard works we have done. We can't get what people at the same age around us have already got. We all have different time zones.

Maybe some of your friends already have a job and can give their parents money, certain of them already got married to someone who loves them unconditionally. But you still have to pace your own pathways in reaching that level. I think it is not right to rush things that are not yet yours. God may reach you to that level a bit late, but in a better choice and condition. You never know.

After all, we just need to set clear goals and objectives, achieve them confidently. When things do not fall into place, give the rest to God to decide for us. We have done our best, and eventually only He knows everything, more than us.

Working life.

So I'm currently having my practical in one of audit firms at Shah Alam.
During this peak time of audit, I've been so stressed with work lately as I never stepped out from my office before than 8 p.m. Paling lambat 3 o'clock in the morning. Can you imagine?

I'm physically and mentally tired with this job due to lack of sleep. When I arrived at home at 10 p.m every day, I only managed to be on my bed at 1 a.m. and need to wake up early at 6 a.m to make sure pukul 7 pagi lagi tayar kereta i dah bergolek kat atas jalan raya to avoid jammed. That is how I'm struggling with my morning routine since I started working as an auditor. I mean trainee auditor. Lol.

But I still need to take it positively, all these challenges are sooner or later would benefit me in something I never expect kan. Belum cerita pasal tasks and job scope I kena buat kat office tu. Kena marah macam perkara biasa because of soalan bodoh which they take it as soalan bodoh but how they can expect we know to do things without learning it first. Hmmm tahan je lah. Sometimes diorang marah bukan sebab taknak ajar pun. Sebab diorang stress dgn kerja diorang. Macam lah kita tak stress sebab tak tau nak buat something tu.

But I learned a lot throughout the process kena marah and kena push sampai siap. Balik rumah baru boleh lepas nangis kut. Kat office kena tahan and simpan je dalam hati. No hard feelings sebab kerja kena siap tak boleh bawak balik rumah sebab nanti tak buat. ha ha.

Belum lagi dengan perangai client yang payah nak bagi commitment tau. Tu lagi stress sebab kerja tak jalan. Takpelah nanti lama lama biasa kut.

I tulis post ni pun during weekend which my emotion is a bit stable so tak banyak bitching about my stress. Nasib baik. Kalau tak entah pape I merepek. Ni pun dah kelaut.

So this is my update after 1 month working as an auditor/accountant. Ada lagi 5 bulan tau. I can do this. Still searching for something that can make me really love this job.

Singapore Backpacker Trip 2016 | 2D1N - Part 1

Assalamualaikum and hi again ! Dah lama tak post pasal travel kan. Bila dah lama sangat menyepi gatal je kaki nak jalan jauh sikit besides melepak kat shopping malls and kedai kopi je. Habis duit beli benda merepek. Baik kite travel kan, where the money worth spent for. Experience pun dapat.

So last week, my travelmates and I went for some travelling at Singapore. Why we chose Singapore was because first, Singapore is the nearest country to Malaysia so of course the budget is lesser compared to other countries. Secondly, kitorang prefer to spend time at theme park sbb dah lama tak pegi since Singapore ada USS kan. Boleh la nak try theme park before tua kan. Practice dulu nanti nak bawak anak senang. kikiki.

1. Transportation - Flight
(KUL >> SIN for pegi SENAI>>KUL for balik )

Since Air Asia was having a promotion at the moment kitorang tengah plan itinerary, so we just booked return ticket for RM98. Kitorang amik flight pagi buta pukul 6.15 a.m and the flight took about an hour so pukul 7.15 a.m dah sampai. Jimat masa kan? Tak payah fikir nak overnight kat mana. As we arrived, terus carik ticket office nak beli transportation card for MRT. Mula2 plan nak beli E-Z link card sebab tu paling murah, tapi dah campur gelabah tak jumpa ticket office, beli je NETS transportation card kat information centre where you can use for MRT, LRT, all busses and taxi.

Takpela lari sikit dari bajet $15 utk transportation card, we had to pay for $20 with $5 stored value. You can topup at any ticket office with minimum $10 or 7eleven store with $5 minimum plus 15% extra charge. So masa kitorang gerak ke MRT Changi kitorang terjumpa ticket office that we aimed for tapi line up panjang gila baq hang. Nasib baik dah beli awal kat atas, so tak payah bazir masa. From Changi Station we stopped at Bugis MRT to check-in hostel. Kitorg stay backpacker hostel je sebab hotel lain semua mahal and kalau murah pun jauh from attractions. So untuk elakkan membazir, we stayed at The Shophouse Social Hostel kat Arab Street which is really near to Masjid Sultan and Bugis Street.

On the way ke hostel, kitorg jumpa ZAMZAM Restaurant which is the famous halal food there. Macam mamak la. So we bough two murtabak at $8 size and share 4 orang. Tak habis pun. Siap take away bawak bekalan ke USS. Masing2 tangki kecik je, muat masuk ciput je lagipun murtabak diorang besar gila tak macam murtabak malaysia jual kat bazar tu.

2. Stay - The Shophouse Social Hostel

This is basically how the hostel looked like. We are flexible with bunk beds. If you wanna stay in this hostel and you want privacy, please choose the Female Bedroom not Mixed Bedroom. Mine was 8-Bed Female Bedroom. Toilet asing, nak solat pun senang. only for $27 per night. Iron and hair dryer semua ada. Suis plug diorang sama je macam Malaysia. Tak payah susah2 nak beli travel adapter. haha. Setiap sorang ada locker yg berkunci. So it was more than enough.

Bathroom, Iron, Hairdryer, Makeup Mirror all in one place. Sharing is caring kan. Another 4 roommates kitorang were japanese. Diorang stay situ for 3 weeks sebab internship. See, bukan dapat kenal orang Singapore je tapi dapat kena orang Jepun sekali. Haik Arigatogozaimasu ! Lagi satu we met so many koreans even at ZAMZAM haish tak habis badi korea lagi ke aku ni. Diorg mmg tengah musim melawat Singapore ke apa? hahaha. Tiap kali japanese and korean tourist berbual kawan akak sibuk tanya "tu bahasa jepun ke korea?". haha dah boleh differentiate kamsahamnida diorang. K ni singapore tak payah sibuk cerita pasal korea kpop korang tu.

I super love their rooftop view ! sambil lepak makan breakfast, boleh fengfeeling atas dunia singapore melihat suasana kesibukan di sana. Enjoy the View~

3. Universal Studio Singapore (USS)

We bought cheaper tickets from Malaysia Agent. Around RM 165 murah kan? One day pass pulak tu. Kitorang saja amik weekday sebab nak elak line up panjang utk rides kat USS. So basically rides kat USS ni semua jenis mencabut jantung orang tak bagi tau dulu. Haha. My fav ride was Transformer Ride sebab dia ada animation 4D movie sekali. It's like roller coaster and 4D movie in one go. Best best.

I suggest bila you dah stop kat Habourfront MRT, just naik level 3 vivo city and amik taxi instead of amik Sentosa Express mahal. $4 per person for one way, Kalau taxi $4 for a trip, share 4 orang. Jimat kan? However, avoid peak hour sbb nnti korang kena charge extra 25%. Kitorang kena masa balik from USS masa semua org tgh balik keje. Tapi still sorang kena $3.25 return trip compared to $8 per trip guna sentosa express kan? We must have life hacks sometimes. hehe

Ni lah roller coaster outdoor paling tak boleh nafas bila turun. Cyclon and Human. Kena rent locker utk every ride, tak boleh bawak phone or camera. hmm sobs sobs. Tak boleh nak record every funny moment sorang2 bila kat atas tu, hmmmmmmmmmmm. Ada banyak lagi rides. Just enjoy the pictures lah.

So macam dah banyak gambar je, kite sambung besok lah pulak ye. K tak payah besok sangat. Sambung Part 2 kay. Takde la korang bosan sangat kannnn kena baca banyak2 in one post.

Skincare Routine

Hi guys. I haven't been travelling for quite a long time since my last post but I have something to be shared here. It's about the most common thing related to girls and women. Some of my friends and colleagues ever asked me about what products am I using that makes my skin looks so glowy and good? Even my ex-students suddenly asked me about the skincare brand that I'm using during mathematics class while I actually let them ask about questions regarding mathematics problems. Betuah punya budak.

So, the first thing first I want to make you clear about it's not the expensive products that could make your skin look good but the way you treat and take care of your skin everyday. I admit that there are many high-end makeup products that can even make a perfect coverage of scars and acnes on your skin but still, who doesn't like natural beauty right? You still want to be free from any make ups especially on certain days you are not in a good mood. I know right, cuz I'm also a girl like you guys.

Another thing is, you don't need to put makeup that much on your face if you already have a good skin. A slight application of BB cream or light makeup is enough to boost up your look if your bare face is in perfect condition. And of course, before choosing the best products that might work well on your skin, you have to do some study first by reading reviews and facts about the significance of common ingredients on human skin. For example, honey is good for brightening, black sugar is good for exfoliating and many more you would find if you read. So without any further delay, let me share with you what I have been done for my daily skin care.

What I'll be explaining later is just about skin care, not including the make up products that I use okay. So here's a photo of my skin care tools.

Okay lemme tell how step by step how I use those bunch of products above.

1. Wipe off Your Makeup (Simple Facial Wipes)

As you know, you have to remove your makeup first before you clean your face with any facial foams or cleanser. Oh by the way, I forgot to insert my facial foam is from The Face Shop (Rice Water Bright). The cleaning part needs to be done properly because it will affect the effectiveness of anything you put on your face afterwards. Your mosturizer or any serum might not work well on the face that has many clogged pores. So you have to remove your mascara, eyeliner, lipstick and your thick foundation before you cleanse your face. Some people use oil remover to remove those thick makeups. Since I just apply light makeup, I use face wipes.

2. Wash Your Face - Cleansing (The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Facial Cleanser)

Of course you have to wash your face at least twice a day, morning and evening/night. If you want to wash more than that you have to know well about your skin type cuz dry skin is not recommended to wash more to avoid over-dryness of your skin. As my skin is combination skin I got really dry skin on the parts other than T-zone, I need to avoid cleanser that has too much acidic contents. As I'm living in a hot country, I always being exposed to sun rays and my skin got burned easily so that's why I'm choosing rice based cleanser cuz it's good for brightening and help me to reduce my melanin back.

3. Exfoliate Your Skin Twice a Week (The Face Shop Jeju Volcano Clay Mask)

This product is a hot selling in Korea cuz it dries fast you don't need to wait for 20 minutes or longer like the previously released clay mask. Clay Mask is basically for pore care, if you want small pores or want to tighten you pores after so many foundations and makeups made the higher possibilities for clogged pores. Clogged pore is not good cuz it causes pimples and blackheads. It also absorbs the sebum (oil) in your pores to prevent any acnes. So most of beautician ever said that it's very recommended to put this mask first before you apply mosturizer or makeup afterwards. Your makeup will blend well on your face.

4. Toner & Mosturizer (Neutrogena)

I choose Neutrogena after so many try-and-errros of toner and mosturizers from drug store, Neutrogena gives best for my skin. It really doesn't irritate and dry out my skin. The extra tips to choose toner, I prefer free-alcohol toner cause alcohol would make your skin extremely dry and your skin will lose vitamins. Afterwards, I apply mosturizer to keep my skin hydrated. I keep switiching mosturizers between netrogena and aloe vera gel from nature republic depends on my mood and condition of my skin at the moment. If I have sunburn I use aloe vera frequently as it's good to treat sunburn.

5. Face Mask at most, every day before sleep

Face Mask is good to give vitamins to your skins after your skin became dull of too much makeup for the whole tiring working day. So after cleansing my face, I apply face mask before I sleep. Don't wash your skin directly after you put off the mask, just sleep with that and only wash your skin in the morning after you wake up.

6. Sunblock

Last but not least, don't take sunblock for granted. It's important to protect your skin from direct uv rays that would risk you to have skin cancer. so apply it before you apply foundation or makeup, but after mosturizer.
